Fully tighten after 4 – 7 “Motor belt tension”. Attach the retaining ring E2 to the sharper end of ES pin F-B 2, and then insert the feed bar spacer 3 and the spring 3. Attach the 4 coating clips 1 to 4 with the 3 screws 1. Insert the presser bar bushing 1 into the shaft hole on the bottom of the unit holder. Attach the plate spring 2 to the unit holder with the screw 1. Attach the retaining ring E6 to the unit shaft 1. Pass the photo diode lead wire 1 through the cord holder 2. Attach the cord holder 2 to the inner rotary hook bracket 3 with the screw 1.

Set the tension pulley 2 and the plain washer M6 3 onto the shaft of the Y tension pulley assembly 1, and then attach the retaining ring E4. Attach the Y pulse motor assembly 1 to the X carriage assembly 2 with the 2 screws 1. Attach the retaining ring E4 to the Y guide shaft 1, and then attach the wave spring washer 2 to the Y guide shaft 1. Insert the Y guide shaft 1 from the Y tension pulley assembly side of the X carriage assembly 3.
Insert the lead wire assembly YPM relay 1 and then the lead wire of the Y sensor PCB assembly 2 into the groove on the cord guide 3, and then secure these with the screw 1.
Set the washer 2 and the X driving gear pulley 3 onto the shaft 1, and then attach the retaining ring E4. Hang one end of the timing belt 1 over the X driving gear pulley 2, and the other end over the X tension pulley assembly 3. Move the X tension pulley assembly 3 to the right, and then temporarily tighten the 2 screws 1. Attach the oil guard plate 1 to the main frame unit with the 2 screws 1.
Position the XY carriage unit 1 as shown in the photo on the right, and then insert the X guide shaft 2. Insert the X belt presser 1 into the gear of the timing belt 2. Slide the XY carriage unit to align the round hole on the X belt presser 1 with the screw hole on the XY carriage unit, and then secure these with the screw 1.
Attach the 2 rubber cushions 1 to the ES base cover. Insert the 2 rubber cushion covers 2 into the attachment groove. Lock release lever ASSY assembly 1. Attach the lock finger 2 to the lock release lever 1. Lock release lever assembly attachment 1.
Align the 2 positioning holes on the main frame unit 2 with the 2 bosses at the center of the ES base cover unit 1. Secure the ES base cover unit 1 to the main frame unit 2 with the 6 screws 1×2, 2×4. Attach the groove cover 1 to the ES main cover. ES main cover assembly attachment 1.
Position the ES base cover unit 1 as shown in the photo on the right, and then slide the X carriage assembly 2 to the left. Position the X carriage cover 1 so that it covers the X carriage assembly, and then temporarily tighten the screw 1.
Page Adjustment Adjustment Inspection Needle point damage Put needle on a level block, and check a needle is not bent. The gap with the block should be even. Level block 2.
